What should I wear?

Wear what makes you comfortable, but we recommend shorts and a tank top/sports bra. Specific “pole wear” is fun, but not required. Nudity is not permitted in the studio.

Do not use sunscreen, lotion, oils, or perfume on the day of your pole class. Lotion, sunscreen, and oil will make you and the pole slippery, whereas perfume may bother other students with allergies.

What should I bring?

Be sure to bring water. Pole grip aids will be available for use for your first class only, then you will be required to purchase your own.

Do I need dance or fitness experience to do pole?

NO! Most of those who try pole have no dance or fitness experience. Intro to Pole classes are beginner level. No experience of any kind required.

Am I strong enough to try pole?

YES! Upper body strength will come with pole practice and is not necessary before starting!

What if I’m not flexible?

No level of flexibility is required for beginner pole classes. Some students advance their flexibility on their own time. Your strength and flexibility will improve as you continue to do pole.

Do I need to lose weight before coming to pole class?

Absolutely not! Come as you are. If you have a body, you have a pole dancer body.

Should I warm up before class?

Each class will begin with a warm-up period.

Do I need to have heels?

Only if you want them! Heels are hard - it’s like wearing ankle weights! They are welcome, but not required in all classes. If your instructor is planning on doing something with heels they will let you know and provide variations as needed.

Can I buy my own pole for practice at home?

Absolutely! We are an authorized seller of the poles that we use in class, x-poles! Email us at to inquire about an order. We can help you decide what pole is best for you.

Do you offer Bachelorette Parties?

Yes! Email us at to inquire about a booking.

Can I buy a giftcard?
